Ed earned his undergraduate degree from Northern Michigan University before completing his Master of Social Work at Tulane University in New Orleans, specializing in the treatment of families and children.
Background
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Ed has dedicated his career to mental health and addiction treatment. He spent 15 years at Woods Psychiatric Hospital, followed by leadership roles at Betty Hardwick Center, where he served as Director of Child and Adolescent Services and later as the Mental Health Authority and Clinical Director for Crisis and Admissions. Most recently, he spent nine years at Dyess Air Force Base, providing mental health and family advocacy services to military personnel and their families.
